"...for the illusion of perfect love"

...I think she's trying to figure out whether to kiss the frog or dissect it.

I'll leave it at that. There's a lot of symbolism and stuff to think about if you just give it a second look (and full-view!). I did 3 different pictures to make it look a bit like shots from a movie or a comic, y'know adding some action and such.

----
Now for some credits:

Model: Me.
Photographer: Myself, and my mom (on the hands picture).
Outfit: black lace shoulderthingy cape from H&M and a broche that belonged to my great grandmother.
Tools/media: Canon camera, Photoshop 8.0, Wacom Tablet.
Time spent: solely on the photomanip, about 15+ hours. Don't get me wrong, I love my art as if they were my own children, but this baby's been crying for too long and mommy needs a break! x:
Stock used:
- Frog: Toad 8 and Toad 11 by ~Battery-Stock
- Tube: DSCF0005 by ~KERISTOCK
- Heart: Heart 4 by ~cheeseinthestock
- Frames: Frames by ~BrokenFeline-Stock
- Textures: Rust Texture 1 by ~dead-stock (can't stop using this one)
and also a few from Mayang's Texture Library

Many thanks to all these great stock artists.

Hope you enjoy the picture(s)! Feel free to toss me some feedback.

"the Never-ending quest..." for perfect love is more than "just a manip" - it tells a story packed with symbolism and great lightning. Don't forget to take a look at ~Cado's gallery, too. (Suggested by *Aegis-Strife and Featured by `kuschelirmel)

Fluid job on mixing all the stock and your own photography...that's what 15+ hours of work will give you! Good symbolism too :)

Unbelieveable amount of details you put in it. I especially adore her eyes and the visible veins.

Stunning as usual!

wow, very well done. this much have taken a long time!
i love the skeleton showing through on the hand, very cool idea to bring the blue/turqouise colour into that area..
interesting to mix your own photos with stocks... i like the amount of effort you put into this, and the concept makes sense :)

Love is patient...and kind; Love is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs...It always protects, always hopes, always perseveres.

Indeed! It would probably have taken me about.... 8 hours less if I had ignored the tiny details on the full version (which is about 5 times bigger, if not more).

Maybe I should start making smaller photomanips. :x

I'm glad you like it though! :)
