Light is never white
& Shadow is never black You can take it in it's philosophical sense, but also quite litterally. When colouring we're better off keeping that in mind. There's colour everywhere, and it's always where you don't notice it at first. So, of course, everything in this picture is a colour. I wanted to try out having to rely on the actual colours of my picture to define the image, and not the lineart for once. In the name of challenging yourself and renewing your abilities... I hope you like it as much as I do. Feedback and crit is always welcome, but keep in mind it's only my second "all colour - no lines" art.  - Photoshop CS, Wacom Tablet, pencil sketch that was ditched along the way. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Fantastic colouring.
I thought for a while that she had sideburns-things for some reason o0
Silly me...
The contrast of the [dark] wire makes it look like it's constantly in front of her hand/fingers, especially the little finger, but when looking at the rest of the wire it seems that it is behind it... -blinks-
I love the quaver-note-thing with the jaws of DEATH, though.
