Description
A kitty hoodie I made to match my kitty dress ([link]).
This turned out way better than I had hoped for, mostly because I couldn't imagine ever succeeding in making something like this a year ago and sewing is more of a side-interest for me. x)
Yes, I realize I'm only wearing stockings along with the hoodie. I was wearing a dress, but it interfered with the way the hoodie looked, so I ditched it. I could imagine myself being the Cheshire Cat if only I had a grin like his.
Red lipstick for the sake of contrast.
Enjoy!
Model: Myself.
Photographer: Me and my camera's 10 second timer.
Materials: Mainly made of single-layered black fleece, which is sooo comfortably warm! Black/white striped fabric (cotton I think) and black lining used inside the hood to avoid static electricity and ruined hairdos.
Also, two buttons that look like something from Tim Burton's Nightmare before Christmas, that I bought in the States. <3 Satin ribbon used to tie up the sleeves by the seams, so the sleeves would look more fluffy, like paws.
Patterns used: Again, none. Only my own measurements. Though I did make a "test" version of the different pieces to prevent me from mistakes when I was cutting in the real fabric.
Use: From me to me.
Full-view!
