Where pink bunnies still thrive...
Sunday, 4th of March 2012.
As I believe it is customary to let people know that you are still alive on a regular basis, I think an update here is quite overdue. I won't summarize the past two years (no need to bore you, right?), but as far as the last few months are concerned, I've made some leaps in my life, mainly jumping to better places (with the occasional friendly/unfriendly shove from someone else). A little under a month ago I returned from a semester abroad in Istanbul, Turkey to a job as an instructor in one of my old classes at university. These next few months I'll be writing my BA thesis and then applying for my master's degree this summer.
Art-wise, I'm still drawing, even if this place seems somewhat static.
Life is good. I've found that for some reason artistic motivation thrives in misery. I've also learned how to use a microwave and found out that there's a caterpillar which lives for 14 years, spending short summers fattening up slowly until finally it becomes a moth, breeds and dies within a few days. I still can't fathom the rules for placing commas in English.
The small things, right?
